About

Born in 1991 in Los Angeles, Daniel Fetcho is a bi-cultural Chinese-American artist and designer.  Daniel began training in traditional Chinese painting at the age of five under the tutelage of 宋秀珍 (Song XiuZhen), dubbed the “Peony Queen” for her mastery in the scholar-artist Bird-and-Flower style of painting.  Working in a range of mediums, he also studied oil painting under renowned Los Angeles based Chicano artist Margaret Garcia.  Daniel went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley and his Masters of Architecture from Yale University.

Daniel’s art is focused on shifting and elevating perceptions of cannabis, both in Chinese culture and beyond, by pairing it with China’s highest art form and one of the oldest continuous artistic traditions in the world.
